This beautiful and elegant beast of a Timorasso is Daniele’s firstborn wine, hailing from his oldest and prestigious “San Leto” cru, positioned at Piedmont’s border with Liguria and benefitting from the latter’s marine influence.
It is a natural wine that sees 3 days of skin contact while it ferments in steel tanks, then ages 12 months on the fine lees and 24 more in the bottle. It sings a song of luminous focus and deep elegance: fumè undertones buttress an intense minerality, balsamic herbs with ripe medlar fruit and spiced chamomile.
At home we drink it around 14-16°C.
