Pierluigi Zampaglione
Located in Calitri, on the hills of Alta Irpinia, Pierluigi Zampaglione's farm has been producing cereals and legumes for generations. Among the first in the south to use organic farming, since 2002 Pierluigi and his wife have also cultivated two hectares of vineyards using a single vine, the Fiano. The vineyards are located on three different parcels and offer different characteristics in the composition of the soil and the work in the vineyard and in the cellar are aimed at enhancing the territory and the grape variety. From this philosophy "Don Chisciotte" was born, a pure and unfiltered Fiano, characterized by long maceration on the skins, the exclusive use of indigenous yeasts and a measured use of sulfur. The result is a wine of great character and personality, that expresses the great passion and commitment of the Zampaglione family.
