Nebbiolo and Barbera are the 2 grapes forming this rosato wine. At sight, the wine appears salmon pink with some orange reflections. With scents of stone fruits, the taste remains fresh, with a good structure and acidity.
Rifletti it means reflection: like the label.
The Bossotti family
Vincenzo and Giovanna, together with their children Cristina, her husband Davide, have been making wine in this wine amphitheatre since 2000.
The small winery is in Cisterna d’Asti, a small village that is 375 metres above sea level, in the province of Asti on the border of the province of Cuneo. Vincenzo vineyards cover a surface of about 9 hectares in the newly established Terre Alfieri DOCG. They all grown on ideal steep hills with traditional and indigenous varieties: Nebbiolo, Barbera, Arneis and Croatina. The vineyards’ soil is mostly made up of sandstone, sedimentary rocks of marine origins, mixed with limestone, clay and sand, which results in a soft permeable soil. The latest technical developments are implanted in the vineyards respecting the traditional manner, using methods that have a minimal impact on the environment.
