The Langhe Nebbiolo Blagheur appears with a ruby-red colour; it reveals perfumes of flowers and fruits which are typical of the vine; it has a wide and soft taste with noble and well-balanced tannins. The king of the viticulture Piedmont is the grape Nebbiolo. The most world-famous wines originate from it. This wine is inspired by the term "BLAGUMA NA VOTA" - freely translated in to "lets have a glass". This expression was used by the old generations every time they enjoyed a good glass of Nebbiolo.
Alberto and Ezio
Michele Taliano winery was founded in 1930 and today it is run by the third generation Alberto and Ezio Taliano. The winery is based in Montà D'Alba in the heart of the Roero wine-region and the family, due to their very old roots is known with the nickname of "Re Cit" that in piedmontese dialect means "Little Kings".
Like the family, also Taliano's wines have always been a great expression of traditional and timeless Piedmontese wines. In the mid-nineties, Michele's sons, Alberto and Ezio took over and began to renovate the farm. Besides renewing the buildings, they also introduced state of the art new wine-making technologies to further increase the quality of the production and refinement of the wines.
